Truck Driver - Lom, Togo


We are hiring a skilled Truck Driver to transport goods and materials across the city of Lom, Togo. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in truck driving, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for loading and unloading cargo, planning routes, and making deliveries on time. You must also have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a truck to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload cargo from the truck
- Plan the most efficient route to make deliveries on time
- Follow traffic laws and safety regulations
- Inspect trucks before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition
- Keep accurate records of deliveries made
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and other team members
- Adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a truck driver
- Valid driver's license for commercial vehicles (Class C or higher)
- Clean driving record with no accidents or tickets
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Excellent communication skills in English or French (both preferred)
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience driving trucks in urban areas or cities is preferred but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with GPS devices
- Good time-management skills
- Attention to detail
