Land Surveyor
As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine the precise location and measurements of land, including boundaries, elevation, and features. You will work with advanced surveying equipment and software to collect data and create accurate maps and reports. This is a contract position that requires a high level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys using advanced equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners
- Analyze data collected from surveys to determine property boundaries, elevation changes, and other features
- Create detailed maps and reports using survey data
- Communicate with clients to understand their survey needs and provide accurate results
- Review existing survey plans and records to verify accuracy
- Maintain organized records of survey data
- Work within project budgets and timelines
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Land Surveyor or similar role
- Familiarity with surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience working on projects within budgetary constraints
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and safety procedures
Salary: $1000 per month
Location: Utena (preference for Indian candidates)
