Preservation Architect - Triesen, Liechtenstein
As a Preservation Architect in Triesen, Liechtenstein, you will play a vital role in preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures. Your main responsibility will be to assess the condition of buildings, develop preservation plans, and oversee the restoration process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting on-site assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine their condition and identify potential preservation issues
- Researching the history of the building and its significance in order to inform preservation plans
- Developing detailed preservation plans that balance historical accuracy with modern safety standards and functionality
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that preservation work is carried out according to plan
- Overseeing restoration projects from start to finish, including monitoring progress and addressing any issues that arise
- Conducting regular inspections of preserved buildings to ensure ongoing maintenance and identify any necessary repairs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience as a Preservation Architect or similar role
- Strong knowledge of historical architecture styles and techniques for restoration work
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and preservation guidelines
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Proficient in AutoCAD or other architectural software
Salary: 1500$ per month
