Seasonal Executive Chef in Gujrat, India
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team for a seasonal position in Gujrat, India. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen and culinary operations. This includes menu planning, food preparation, staff management, and maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus based on seasonal availability and customer preferences
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation and adherence to safety standards
- Monitor food costs and inventory to maintain budget goals
- Maintain high levels of food quality and presentation
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop new dishes and specials
- Handle any customer complaints or issues related to food quality or service
- Manage purchasing of ingredients and supplies
- Conduct regular kitchen inspections
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification
- Knowledge of Indian cuisine is preferred
- Excellent leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Must have own visa for working in India
