Job Title: Junior Accountant

As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the financial management and reporting of our company in Lisbon. Your primary duties will include maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial data to identify areas for improvement. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in accounting and a thorough understanding of financial principles. You should also possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail. A biometric passport is preferred but not mandatory. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1100 per month. Accommodation is not provided for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements
- Maintaining accurate and organized financial records
- Analyzing financial data and identifying areas for improvement
- Preparing tax returns and other regulatory filings
- Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Collaborating with other teams to develop and implement cost-saving strategies
- Providing support to senior accountants as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 1+ years of experience in accounting or related field
- Knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Biometric passport preferred
