Typesetter for a Publishing Company in Svalbard



We are in search of a skilled typesetter to join our publishing team in Svalbard. As a typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for print and digital publications. This is a part-time position, with the potential for full-time employment in the future.

Requirements:
- No prior experience required, but knowledge of graphic design and typography is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and other design software
- Must have accommodation in Svalbard or be willing to relocate
- Visa sponsorship available for non-Svalbard residents

Responsibilities:
- Format and arrange text, images, and other visual elements according to design specifications
- Ensure all text is free of errors and properly aligned with images
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure a cohesive final product
- Stay updated on industry trends and new software developments related to typesetting

Salary: $900 per month (part-time)
