Typesetter

As a typesetter, you will be responsible for creating and formatting text and images for various print and digital publications. This includes selecting appropriate fonts, spacing and arranging text, and making sure the layout is visually appealing. You will work closely with editors, designers, and printers to ensure that the final product is error-free and meets all design specifications. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

As our ideal candidate, you should have a keen eye for design and be able to work efficiently under tight deadlines. You must also have excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with other team members. Additionally, you should be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

This position offers a salary of $1600 per month and includes accommodation in our company-provided housing. We are open to candidates of any gender or nationality. However, since Svalbard is an isolated location with limited resources, this position may be more suitable for individuals who are self-sufficient and adaptable.
