Instrument Technician

We are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of instruments used in a variety of industries. This is a full-time position with visa sponsorship available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and level transmitters
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with instruments and control systems
- Perform preventive maintenance on instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals to understand instrument specifications
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify solutions for complex instrument issues
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working with hazardous materials or in confined spaces

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and pressure calibrators
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits and instrumentation principles
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Experience working with various types of sensors, transmitters, controllers, and valves
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be able to work full-time with visa sponsorship
