Fitter Technician



Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Fitter Technician to join our team in Vejle. As a Fitter Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining machinery and equipment according to specifications. This is a full-time position with a salary of $900 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Assemble and install mechanical components such as gears, bearings, belts, and chains
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, drill, grind, and shape parts
- Inspect and test machinery for proper functioning
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make necessary repairs
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Keep accurate records of work performed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of technical drawings
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Good communication skills in English (Danish language skills preferred)
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Vocational training or certification in mechanical engineering or related field
- Experience working with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers

Working Conditions:
This is a physically demanding job that may require working in tight spaces or at heights. You will also be exposed to loud noises, dust, fumes, and other hazards. Personal protective equipment will be provided.
