QA Engineer


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Engineer to join our dynamic team in Almada. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through thorough testing and analysis. You will work closely with the development team to identify and report any defects or issues, as well as implement solutions to improve product performance.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual and automated testing on software products to ensure functionality, usability, and compatibility
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and documentation
- Collaborate with the development team to identify areas for improvement in product design and functionality
- Track and report bugs, issues, and defects found during testing
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
- Continuously monitor product performance and provide recommendations for improvements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in QA methodologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Experience with manual and automated testing tools such as Selenium, JMeter, or similar
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python is a plus
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and provide solutions
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Biometric passport is required for international travel

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1200 per month.

Location:
This is a contract job located in Almada. Accommodation will not be provided.
