Executive Chef in Almada, Portugal
As an Executive Chef in our fine dining restaurant in Almada, Portugal, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food and service. You will lead a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff to create innovative and delicious dishes that showcase the best of Portuguese cuisine.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Strong knowledge and passion for Portuguese cuisine
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage a team and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Creativity in menu planning and development
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation
- Create new menus regularly to keep up with seasonal ingredients and trends while maintaining traditional Portuguese dishes
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with the front-of-house staff to provide exceptional service to guests
- Continuously seek ways to improve processes, reduce costs, and increase profitability without sacrificing quality
Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)
