Land Surveyor
As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and measurements of land and structures. Your duties will include analyzing data, preparing maps and reports, and providing guidance to construction projects. You must have strong knowledge of surveying techniques and equipment, as well as excellent communication skills to work with clients and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys using specialized equipment to measure land boundaries, elevations, and features
- Analyze data to determine the shape, contour, location, elevation, and other characteristics of land or structures
- Prepare maps, reports, and drawings based on survey results
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction crews to provide guidance on surveying requirements for projects
- Ensure accuracy of measurements through quality control procedures
- Maintain records of survey data and provide documentation for legal purposes
- Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
- Train and supervise junior surveyors as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in land surveying
- Strong knowledge of surveying techniques and equipment
- Proficient in using computer software for data analysis and mapping
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
