Foundry Technician


Our foundry company in Pula is seeking a skilled and experienced Foundry Technician to join our team. As a Foundry Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining foundry equipment and ensuring the production of high-quality castings. Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain foundry equipment, including furnaces, ladles, molds, and cranes
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality control standards are met
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to keep it running smoothly
- Troubleshoot and repair any equipment malfunctions
- Prepare molds for casting by filling them with molten metal
- Monitor metal flow during casting process to ensure proper distribution
- Inspect finished castings for defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experience in foundry work, preferably in a similar role as a Foundry Technician
- Strong understanding of foundry processes and equipment
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Attention to detail and quality control mindset
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Salary: $900 per month
