Machine Learning Engineer


We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Faro. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning algorithms and models to extract insights from large datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models
- Analyze and extract insights from large datasets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions
- Continuously evaluate and improve the performance of machine learning models
- Stay updated with the latest developments in machine learning and apply them to improve existing processes

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong understanding of machine learning techniques (e.g. clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R or Java
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members

Preferred:
- Familiarity with big data tools such as Hadoop or Spark
- Experience working on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure

Salary: $1200/month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Faro, Portugal
