Preservation Architect



Our architectural firm in Monte-Carlo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures while ensuring they meet modern safety and building codes. This is a full-time position that requires at least 5 years of experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine necessary preservation and restoration work
- Develop preservation plans that adhere to local, national, and international standards
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project goals are met
- Oversee construction work to ensure adherence to preservation plans
- Conduct regular inspections of ongoing projects to ensure quality control
- Research and recommend appropriate materials, techniques, and technologies for preservation work
- Prepare detailed reports on project progress for clients and regulatory agencies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture with specialization in Preservation or Historic Preservation
- At least 5 years of experience as a Preservation Architect
- Strong knowledge of local, national, and international preservation standards
- Experience working with historic buildings and structures
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Monte-Carlo but remote work options may be available.
