IT Manager


We are a growing company in the heart of Greenland and we are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's technology infrastructure and ensuring its smooth operation. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT strategies to support the company's goals and objectives
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including budgeting, planning, and staffing
- Ensure the security of our systems and data by implementing appropriate measures and protocols
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and upgrade of hardware and software systems
- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for their implementation
- Train employees on new systems or technologies as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and implement solutions to improve efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an IT management role
- Proven experience in developing and implementing IT strategies
- Strong knowledge of network administration, security protocols, hardware installation, and software upgrades
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals
- Fluency in English (knowledge of Greenlandic is a plus)

Salary: $1700/month without accommodation.
