Barista

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Barista to join our team in El-Ain. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages to our customers while delivering exceptional customer service. You must have excellent knowledge of different coffee brewing methods, be able to operate various coffee-making equipment, and have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing drinks. The ideal candidate should have at least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, possess good communication skills, and be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. As a Barista, your responsibilities will include:

- Welcoming customers with a friendly attitude and providing them with an exceptional experience
- Taking orders from customers and preparing drinks according to their preferences
- Operating various coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, and drip brewers
- Consistently maintaining the quality of the coffee by monitoring its strength, temperature, and freshness
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and ensuring all equipment is sanitized
- Suggesting new menu items or special offers to customers based on their preferences
- Upselling additional items such as pastries or snacks to increase sales
- Handling cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient operations during busy periods

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent education required; barista training/certification preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a barista in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of different brewing methods such as pour-over, French press, etc.
- Proficient in operating espresso machines, grinders, drip brewers, etc.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in drink quality
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and menu items
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
