Entry-Level Barista
We are hiring an entry-level barista to join our team in Lisbon. As a barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold coffee beverages, as well as pastries and other snacks. This is an ideal position for someone with a passion for coffee and an interest in the hospitality industry. No prior experience is required, but candidates should have a basic understanding of coffee brewing techniques and be willing to learn. A biometric passport is preferred but not required. This is an urgent job opening, so we are looking for candidates who can start immediately.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve hot and cold coffee beverages according to customer orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station
- Stock ingredients and supplies as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items
- Operate cash register and process payments accurately
- Ensure quality control by monitoring brewing equipment, temperatures, and ingredients
- Assist with food preparation and presentation of pastries and other snacks
- Follow all health code regulations for food handling and sanitation

Requirements:
- Passion for coffee with a willingness to learn about different brewing methods
- Basic knowledge of espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and politely with customers
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Biometric passport preferred but not required
- Able to start immediately

Salary:
Starting salary for this entry-level position is $1800 per month.

This job is located in Lisbon, Portugal. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Portugal.
