We are searching for a professional and reliable Cashier to join our team in Braga, Portugal. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, maintaining accurate records of all transactions, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and answer any questions they may have
- Scan items and process payments using a cash register or POS system
- Ensure correct prices and discounts are applied to purchases
- Issue receipts, refunds, or change to customers as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions
- Count and verify money in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
- Handle returns and exchanges in a timely manner
- Keep checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies
- Handle any customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate to management if necessary

Requirements:
- Biometric passport (or ability to obtain one)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven work experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Excellent math skills to accurately handle money transactions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary: 1100$ per month (depending on experience)
