Android Developer

A rapidly growing mobile development company in Herzliya is seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mobile applications for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Android development, including experience with Java and the Android SDK. This is a contract position with the possibility of full-time employment for the right candidate. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates. No previous experience is required, but proficiency in English is preferred. This is an urgent position, so we are seeking candidates who can start immediately.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-quality, user-friendly mobile applications on the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and timelines
- Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to ensure app functionality and quality
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new technologies into projects
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Work closely with project managers to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Android development using Java and the Android SDK
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
