As a skilled Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a wide variety of delicious pastries and desserts. Your creativity, attention to detail, and knowledge of flavor combinations will play a crucial role in delighting our customers with delectable treats. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure high-quality standards are maintained and assist in developing new menu items. Your expertise in pastry techniques, baking methods, and ingredient selection will be essential in crafting unique and visually appealing desserts. You should also possess strong time-management skills to efficiently produce pastries in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake pastries, cakes, cookies, and other desserts according to recipes
- Decorate pastries using various techniques such as piping, glazing, and icing
- Develop new pastry recipes that align with customer preferences and dietary restrictions
- Ensure all ingredients are stored properly and maintain stock levels
- Monitor food quality to ensure consistency and freshness
- Follow proper sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team on menu planning and organization
- Train new pastry staff on techniques, procedures, and safety protocols

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of different pastry techniques, including mixing methods, decorating, piping, etc.
- Strong understanding of flavor combinations and baking ingredients
- Creativity in developing new dessert ideas that align with current trends
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent time-management skills to meet production deadlines
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
- Diploma or degree from a culinary institute is preferred but not required

Salary: $1100 per month
