Job Title: Head Pastry Chef
We are in search of a skilled and creative Head Pastry Chef to join our team at our luxury hotel in Faisalabad, Pakistan. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the pastry department, including menu creation, recipe development, and managing a team of pastry cooks.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and update pastry menus for the hotel's restaurants, banquets, and room service
- Create new recipes and oversee the testing and implementation process
- Train and supervise a team of pastry cooks
- Ensure high quality and consistency in all pastries served
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of various types of pastries and desserts from different cuisines
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique recipes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and manage a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail for presentation and taste of pastries
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Salary:
