Hotel Sales Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Svalbard. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase hotel bookings and revenue. This is a contract job with a salary of 1500$, making it a great opportunity for students or individuals looking for their first job.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve hotel revenue targets
- Build relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and other potential partners to promote the hotel
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new business opportunities
- Negotiate contracts and rates with clients, ensuring profitability for the hotel
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure excellent guest experiences and seamless operations
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual sales reports for management review
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in hotel sales or a similar role
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of the hospitality industry and current market trends in Svalbard
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
