Handyman


As a Handyman, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various aspects of buildings and properties in Nairobi. Your main duties will include performing basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and general maintenance tasks. You will also be responsible for keeping the property clean and safe for residents and visitors.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Handyman
- Fluent in English
- Must be an Indian national currently residing in Nairobi
- Ability to work independently and problem solve
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and general maintenance
- Valid work permit or visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities:
- Perform basic plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures
- Complete carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, windows, and furniture
- Conduct electrical repairs including changing light bulbs, fixing outlets, and replacing fuses
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, cleaning gutters, and repairing appliances
- Keep the property clean by sweeping floors, mopping spills, and removing trash
- Ensure the safety of residents and visitors by identifying potential hazards and taking necessary precautions

Working Conditions:
This is a contract job with a salary of 1600$. The position does not include accommodation but visa sponsorship is available. You will be required to provide your own tools for the job. The working hours are Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm with occasional weekend or evening work if needed.
