Shaper - Surfboard Design and Manufacturing Specialist



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shaper to join our surfboard manufacturing team in Dubrovnik. As a Shaper, you will be responsible for creating high-quality surfboards according to customer specifications and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and shape surfboards using traditional hand tools and modern shaping machines
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences for their custom surfboards
- Select appropriate materials and techniques to achieve desired results
- Ensure all boards are finished to the highest quality standards, including sanding, polish, and glassing
- Collaborate with other team members in the manufacturing process, including glassers, sanders, and finishers
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Shaper in the surf industry
- Extensive knowledge of different types of surfboards, materials, and shaping techniques
- Ability to interpret customer requests and translate them into functional designs
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work consistently
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable depending on experience)

Location: Dubrovnik, Croatia (work permit provided for non-EU citizens)
