Mason Supervisor

We are in need of a skilled and experienced Mason Supervisor to oversee our team of masons in Funchal. As a Mason Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the work of our masons, ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently and to high quality standards. This position does not include accommodation, but we can provide visa sponsorship for non-EU citizens.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of masons
- Assign tasks and provide guidance to team members
- Ensure that all work is completed according to project plans and specifications
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines
- Train new masons on techniques and safety procedures
- Maintain a safe working environment for all workers
- Communicate with project managers to provide updates on progress and any issues that arise
- Order materials and equipment as needed for projects

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a mason
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent knowledge of masonry techniques, tools, and materials
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to read blueprints and follow project plans
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Valid work visa or EU citizenship (visa sponsorship available)
