Civil Engineer - City Infrastructure (Horsens, Denmark)
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Horsens, Denmark. As a Civil Engineer specializing in city infrastructure, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects for roads, bridges, and other city infrastructure systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to determine the feasibility, cost, and environmental impact of proposed projects
- Create detailed designs and blueprints using CAD software
- Prepare project budgets and timelines to ensure timely completion within budget constraints
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project specifications are met
- Oversee construction progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality standards are met
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and support staff
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and government officials regarding project progress
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited university
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Civil Engineer with focus on city infrastructure projects
- Proficient in CAD software
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
