Mason

A mason is responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining buildings and other structures made of brick, stone, or other materials. They use a variety of tools and techniques to lay and bind building materials such as concrete, blocks, and bricks. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in masonry work and be physically fit to handle the demands of the job. They must also have excellent hand-eye coordination, be able to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately. This job requires someone who can work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, shape, and lay bricks or other types of building blocks
- Mix mortar or grout according to specifications
- Use various tools such as trowels, levels, and plumb bobs to ensure accuracy
- Follow blueprints or plans to determine the layout of walls or other structures
- Repair existing structures by replacing damaged bricks or stones
- Install insulation materials like foam or fiberglass in walls or ceilings
- Ensure safety standards are met at all times on the job site

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in masonry work
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Knowledge of different types of building materials and their properties
- Familiarity with safety procedures on construction sites
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must have own visa for employment in Khasab
