Entry Level Accountant

As an Entry Level Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and review of financial statements, analyzing and reconciling accounts, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. You will also support the accounting team with various administrative tasks, such as data entry and filing. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to start their career in accounting. No prior experience is required, but strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are a must. This position offers a salary of $1600 per month and does not include accommodation. The role is based in Svalbard, a unique archipelago known for its stunning landscapes and rich wildlife.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and review of financial statements
- Analyze and reconcile accounts
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Support the accounting team with administrative tasks
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Perform data entry and filing duties
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy of financial information

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Familiarity with accounting software is a plus
