Head Chef - Indian Cuisine
We are a well-established restaurant in Balzers, known for our authentic Indian cuisine. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Indian cuisine, strong leadership skills, and the ability to create delicious and visually appealing dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Create and update menu items based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring high quality standards are met
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to meet health and safety standards
- Collaborate with management to develop new dishes and maintain consistency in taste and presentation
- Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes, portion control guidelines, and food safety regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
- Knowledge of traditional Indian cooking techniques and ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
- Ability to create unique dishes while maintaining consistency in taste
- Fluent in English (additional languages preferred)
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary: $1500/month
