Sous Chef for Fine Dining Restaurant in Balzers
We are a highly acclaimed fine dining restaurant located in the charming city of Balzers, known for our exquisite menu and exceptional service. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our team.
As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with our Head Chef to oversee the daily operations of the kitchen. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with menu planning and development, ensuring it aligns with our concept and meets high standards of quality
- Preparing and cooking dishes according to recipes and plating guidelines
- Maintaining food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- Training and supervising kitchen staff
- Ensuring proper storage and rotation of food items
- Collaborating with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 3 years of experience working as a Sous Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on European cuisine
- Excellent leadership skills, able to motivate and train team members effectively
- A keen eye for detail, ensuring all dishes are presented beautifully
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
