Merchandiser Manager
As a Merchandiser Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the merchandising activities of our company in Braga. You will work closely with the sales team to ensure that our products are displayed and marketed effectively in retail stores. Your main duties will include creating merchandising plans, managing product inventory levels, and analyzing sales data to identify opportunities for improvement.
To excel in this role, you should have previous experience as a merchandiser or in a similar position. A strong understanding of consumer behavior and market trends is also essential. The ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with retail partners is crucial for success.
Responsibilities:
- Develop merchandising strategies and plans to increase product visibility and drive sales
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand market demand and ensure timely delivery of products
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or discontinuing products
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Train and supervise merchandisers to ensure they are effectively implementing merchandising plans
- Conduct store visits to ensure that products are displayed according to company standards
- Build relationships with retail partners to secure prime display locations and negotiate promotional opportunities
- Communicate regularly with management on the performance of merchandising activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a merchandiser or in a similar role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of retail industry trends and consumer behavior
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluency in Portuguese (both written and verbal)
