Construction Manager - Nairobi, Kenya

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee construction projects in Nairobi, Kenya. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing all aspects of the construction process. This includes coordinating with contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with local regulations and safety standards, managing budgets and timelines, and maintaining high quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and manage all phases of the construction process
- Oversee the work of contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship
- Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed to meet project deadlines
- Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project progress
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process
- Maintain accurate records of all project details including contracts, schedules, budgets, etc.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is being completed according to plans

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in construction management
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations in Nairobi, Kenya
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to read blueprints and other technical documents
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams towards a common goal

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.
