Junior Android Developer

We are seeking a Junior Android Developer to join our team in Oslo, Norway. As a member of our mobile development team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Android applications. This is a contract job with a salary of 1200$ per month. We welcome candidates without experience, as long as they show strong potential and enthusiasm for learning. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Android applications according to specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Troubleshoot issues and identify solutions to improve performance and user experience
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our applications
- Contribute to code reviews, testing, and documentation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proficient in Java and Android SDK
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON
- Knowledge of software design patterns and best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred:
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Passion for developing high-quality mobile applications
- Biometric passport or willingness to obtain one
