Instrument Technician for Oil and Gas Industry in Nizwa, Oman


We are a leading oil and gas company in Nizwa, Oman seeking a highly skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working with instrumentation in the oil and gas industry, preferably in a refinery or petrochemical plant. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance and repair of process control instrumentation
- Troubleshoot issues with instrumentation systems
- Perform calibration on various instruments
- Install new equipment and ensure it meets safety standards
- Keep accurate records of work performed
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in the oil and gas industry
- Diploma or certification in Instrumentation Technology or related field
- Knowledge of various types of instrumentation systems, including pressure, temperature, flow, level, etc.
- Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in English

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package starting at 1300$ per month based on experience. Other benefits include accommodation provided by the company.
