Database Administrator


We are hiring a Database Administrator to join our team in Herzliya, Israel. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's databases to ensure data integrity and efficient operations. You will work closely with our development team to design, implement and manage databases that support our business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain company databases, ensuring data security and availability
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Optimize database design for maximum efficiency and scalability
- Develop data backup and recovery protocols
- Collaborate with development team to design new databases or modify existing ones
- Implement data security measures in accordance with company policies
- Conduct regular audits to identify potential issues or areas for improvement

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Proficient in SQL and database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
- Familiarity with database design principles and data security measures
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Familiarity with cloud-based databases (AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.

Location:
