Glazier Technician
Glazier technicians are skilled professionals responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass windows, doors, and other structures. They work with a variety of materials such as glass, plexiglass, and aluminum frames to create functional and aesthetically pleasing structures. As a glazier technician in Svalbard, you will use your expertise to complete projects in a timely and efficient manner while adhering to safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut glass according to specifications
- Install glass using various techniques such as glazing compound or metal fasteners
- Repair or replace damaged glass
- Create custom glass structures such as mirrors or shower enclosures
- Work with clients to determine design preferences and provide recommendations based on technical knowledge
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and meets quality standards

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a glazier technician
- Knowledge of different types of glass and their uses
- Familiarity with safety procedures related to handling glass materials
- Ability to read blueprints and accurately measure dimensions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients

Working Conditions:
This position is full-time, 40 hours per week. The salary for this role is $1000 per week. Candidates must be able to work without accommodation in Svalbard. This is an urgent job posting.
