Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to maintain and improve the facilities and equipment of our company in Alta. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in maintenance or a related field, as well as knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, repairing walls, and fixing minor plumbing issues
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them in a timely manner
- Keep track of maintenance inventory and order supplies when needed
- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects such as renovations or installations
- Maintain a safe working environment by following proper safety procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in maintenance or a related field
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively
- Good time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Preferred:
- Experience working as a handyman or in a similar role
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic computer skills for record keeping purposes

Salary: $1600/month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Alta, Norway (open to all genders)
