Network and Systems Administrator

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade network hardware and software
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Conduct routine maintenance on systems to ensure optimal performance
- Implement security measures to protect against cyber threats
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex network issues
- Provide technical support to end-users as needed
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and recommend improvements to enhance network performance

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP), security protocols (e.g. VPN), and operations systems (e.g. Windows)
- Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds or Nagios is preferred
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms
