Data Mining Analyst


As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends. You will work closely with our team of data scientists and business analysts to translate complex data into actionable insights. Your main goal will be to help drive informed decision-making and improve overall business performance.

Responsibilities:
- Collect and organize large sets of data from internal and external sources
- Use statistical methods to analyze data and identify trends and patterns
- Develop predictive models to forecast future outcomes based on historical data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide actionable insights
- Communicate findings through visualizations, reports, and presentations
- Continuously monitor data quality and perform troubleshooting as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience in data mining, analysis, and modeling
- Strong understanding of statistical methods and software such as R or Python
- Experience with SQL databases and querying large datasets
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner

Location: This position is located in Braga, Portugal.

Salary: We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month.
