Part-Time Computer Support Specialist


We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Computer Support Specialist to join our team in Svalbard. As a Part-Time Computer Support Specialist, you will provide technical support and assistance to our clients with computer hardware, software, and network issues. Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for clients
- Install and configure computer systems and applications
- Provide training and support to users on new technology or software
- Maintain hardware inventory and perform routine maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to resolve complex issues
- Document all technical processes and procedures
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends and advancements

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field is preferred
- Prior experience in IT support or related field is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems
- Familiarity with Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and antivirus software
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary: $1700 per month (part-time)

Location: Svalbard (accommodation provided if needed)

Visa Sponsorship: Available for eligible candidates
