Computer Support Specialist



As a Computer Support Specialist in Gujrat, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to computer users in person, over the phone, or via email. Your main goal will be to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, install and configure computer systems and networks, and provide guidance to users on how to effectively use technology.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for all technical issues related to computer systems and networks
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems in a timely manner
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications
- Set up new user accounts and assist with password resets
- Provide remote support for off-site employees
- Train users on new technologies and provide guidance on how to use them effectively
- Keep track of inventory of all equipment including computers, printers, and other peripherals
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless operation of technology systems
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements in order to provide efficient support

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Computer Support Specialist or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Mac), network protocols (TCP/IP), and software applications (MS Office)
- Familiarity with remote desktop tools such as TeamViewer or AnyDesk
- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented approach
- Exceptional communication skills in order to effectively explain technical concepts to non-tech savvy individuals
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Salary:
This is a contract job with a salary of $900 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Gujrat but may require occasional travel within the city.
