Crane Operator in Clairvaux


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Clairvaux. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift and move materials on construction sites, ports, and other locations as needed. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$, and we provide accommodation and visa sponsorship for non-native speakers.

Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes according to job requirements
- Inspect and maintain crane equipment to ensure safe operation at all times
- Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating the crane
- Communicate with site supervisors, riggers, and other team members to ensure efficient movement of materials
- Keep accurate records of materials lifted and moved using crane logbook
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during operation

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Crane Operator in construction or industrial settings
- Valid crane operator certification or license
- Knowledge of different types of cranes and their capabilities
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination for safe operation of the crane controls
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred Requirements:
- Experience operating cranes in port or maritime environments is a plus
- Fluent in French or willing to learn basic French for better communication on site
