Mechanic Technician


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic Technician to join our team in Malindi. As a Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, as well as diagnosing and troubleshooting any mechanical issues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and tune-ups
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on vehicles
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify problems
- Communicate with customers to explain necessary repairs and provide estimates
- Keep accurate records of all work performed on vehicles
- Order parts as needed for repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a mechanic or mechanic technician
- Experience working with various types of vehicles (cars, trucks, motorcycles)
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to non-experts

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1800 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Malindi, Kenya.

Preference:
Preference will be given to candidates who are Canadian nationals or have the legal right to work in Canada.

Job Type:
This is a full-time position with the possibility of part-time hours.

Experience Required:
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a mechanic or mechanic technician is required for this role.
