Junior Web Designer - Porto, Portugal (Contract)



We are a dynamic and fast-paced company seeking a talented Junior Web Designer to join our team in Porto, Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and designing visually appealing and user-friendly websites for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for web design, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop websites according to client specifications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Create wireframes and mockups to present design concepts to clients
- Collaborate with developers to ensure website functionality and compatibility across different browsers
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web design
- Conduct research on competitor websites to identify areas for improvement

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in web design or front-end development
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Strong eye for design with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience designing responsive websites for both desktop and mobile devices
- Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices
- Understanding of UX/UI design principles

Salary: $1300 per month (contract)

This is a contract position without accommodation. Candidates must have their own valid visa for working in Portugal.
