We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Bergen. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our restaurant, ensuring high quality and delicious meals are consistently delivered to our guests. This role requires a creative and innovative mindset, as well as strong leadership and management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design new menus that reflect current food trends and meet the preferences of our guests
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, portion control, and food presentation
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in the kitchen at all times
- Monitor food inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure timely delivery of fresh ingredients
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events or promotions that showcase unique dishes or menus
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipe specifications and presented in an attractive manner
- Manage costs by controlling food waste, monitoring portion sizes, and minimizing expenses through efficient use of resources

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Creativity and innovation when developing new menus or dishes
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Salary: $1300 per month
Location: Bergen (accommodation not provided)
