Job Title: Seasonal Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team for a seasonal position in Svalbard. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations within the city. This is a physically demanding job that requires long hours of driving, loading and unloading heavy items, and operating specialized equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Plan routes and adhere to delivery schedules
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a truck driver
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary:
The starting salary for this position is $1600 per month.

Location:
This is a seasonal job located in Svalbard. Accommodation will not be provided, so preference will be given to candidates already residing in or near Svalbard.
