Junior Accountant - Braga, Portugal


As a Junior Accountant in our company, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of financial reports, maintaining financial records, and performing general accounting tasks. This is a contract position located in Braga, Portugal with a salary of 1400$. Accommodation will not be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Perform reconciliations of accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Prepare journal entries and manage accounts payable/receivable
- Support the finance team with various tasks as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 1+ years of experience in an accounting role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
- Proficient in MS Office and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred:
- CPA or similar certification
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting
- Knowledge of Portuguese accounting regulations
