Junior Merchandiser

As a Junior Merchandiser, you will be responsible for supporting the merchandising team in various tasks related to product planning, buying, and inventory management. You will assist in analyzing sales data, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of products. This entry-level position is ideal for someone looking to start their career in the retail industry and gain hands-on experience in merchandising.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with creating purchase orders and communicating with suppliers
- Monitor stock levels and analyze sales data to identify trends
- Coordinate with the logistics team for timely delivery of products
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitors' activities
- Collaborate with the design team on product development and selection
- Support the merchandising team in planning and executing promotional events or campaigns
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and sales data
- Communicate with retail stores regarding product availability and restocking needs
- Assist with preparing reports on sales performance and inventory status

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business or fashion-related field preferred
- No previous experience required, but internships or part-time retail jobs are a plus
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within a team environment
- A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with retail software is a plus

Compensation:
Salary: 1000$ per month

Compensation Description: This is a contract job with a monthly salary of 1000 USD. Accommodation will also be provided by the company.
