Excavator Operator

Our busy construction company in Odense is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment and machinery to excavate and move materials on construction sites. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1000 per week, and accommodation can be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of excavators to dig trenches, load trucks, and move materials
- Safely and efficiently operate heavy machinery in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any issues or malfunctions to management
- Follow project plans and blueprints to ensure accurate excavation work
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure safety on job sites
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Excavator Operator in a construction setting
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of construction site safety protocols
- Ability to read project plans and blueprints
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail

Preference will be given to candidates who have experience operating multiple types of excavators or have additional certifications such as OSHA training. This position may also be suitable for students seeking part-time work, as long as availability matches the needs of our projects.
